Sustainable Hanover, Norwich Energy Committee, Drive Electric Vermont and Green Wave Electric Vehicles will host a virtual workshop focusing on what’s new about driving electric.

Learn about new advances in EV’s, tips for purchasing a used EV, the expanding and more flexible public and private charging networks, year-round operation, and the potential cost savings compared to gasoline vehicles. Whether you already have an EV and are considering a trade-in or are new to driving electric, you will learn something new.

Volunteers needed for a Community Build in the spirit of an old fashioned barn-raising! Teams will assemble custom-built interior storm windows to help local families lower fuel bills and increase comfort and warmth in this winter. Share this rewarding experience with friends and family, make new friends, and enjoy delicious home-made soups and cookies at lunch.

Volunteers can choose from a variety of shifts and roles, including insert assemblers, event greeters, and soup chefs and bakers whose homemade treats highlight the daily lunch break. Go here to see dates, times and tasks. No carpentry or woodworking experience is required.

These inserts are cut to order by Maine non-profit Window Dressers and assembled at the build which is organized by Sustainable Hanover and the Energy Committees of Norwich and Lyme. We thank the Church of Christ at Dartmouth College for generously providing the space for the build.
