WHO KNEW that the Annual Hanover/Dartmouth College Community Yard Sale Will Take Place This Year on Saturday, September 5th?

This 15th annual sale will take place in the Dewey Parking lot at Dartmouth College from 10 AM to 2 PM, as usual. Shoppers can find great bargains while catching up with friends and neighbors at this fun community event.

Registration for sellers began on August 1st and will be online this year for the first time! See detailed instructions at the Sustainable Hanover website, sustainablehanovernh.org, under events. Sellers may request 1 or 2 parking lot spaces ($25 each). Spaces come with a second free space for a vehicle(s).

The Sale is a joint effort of Sustainable Hanover and the Office of Sustainability at Dartmouth with the aim of keeping usable items out of the trash. Over the years thousands of people have participated both as sellers and buyers. What do you have that could find a new home? Check your storage spots; attics, barns, basements and closets. If you are downsizing, this is a perfect opportunity to see your excess stuff go to a good home. Best sellers include household goods, tools, children’s items, winter and sports clothing and equipment, small furniture, and much more.
