WHO KNEW that the NH State Forest Nursery Sells Native Trees and Shrubs?

Native plant seedlings grown at the NH State Nursery in Boscawen are sold at great prices. Unfortunately, due to unusual weather this past yearsome species are available in very limited numbers. Sales started in December for plants from the NH state nursery and sales will continue until May. Already, some limited varieties are listed as ‘out of stock’, so get your order in soon. The website states that “If an item sells out, there is a chance inventory will be added in the spring as we lift the seedlings from the seed beds. Please check back regularly between mid-April through mid-May if the item you want is sold out. Inventory will be updated on Mondays.”

NOTE: The ‘wetland’ and ‘pollinator’ packages containing bundles of 5 different species are still available and contain some of the individual plants now listed as ‘out of stock’.

Packages of individual plants come in bundles of 10, 25 or 100 seedlings(assuming availability).
