WHO KNEW There Are Two Styrofoam Recycling Events, An Information Session on Heat Pumps and a film, “The Extraordinary Caterpillar,” to Add to Your Calendar?
Originally scheduled for January 31, the Hanover Styrofoam/string light collection was postponed to February 7th because of frigid temperatures. The weather did not cooperate on February 7th, either, and the event was postponed indefinitely.
The collection will now take place on Saturday, June 27th, 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the Richmond Middle School (63 Lyme Road) in Hanover.
If you need to dispose of your Styrofoam before then, please take it to the Lebanon High School (195 Hanover St.) on Saturday, April 11 between 10 a.m. and 12 noon. Please note that you will be unable to recycle string lights on April 11.
Thank you for doing your part to keep Styrofoam out of our landfill!
And stay tuned for two upcoming events:
3. April 9: Free informational webinar on Heat Pumps (time and link to come) Sponsored by Sustainable Hanover.
4. April 22: Hanover Garden Club showing of “The Extraordinary Caterpillar” film, 6-8 pm, Nugget Theater (free; registration required; link to come).
