NEW DATE: Styrofoam and Old Holiday String Lights Recycling

  • Richmond Middle School 63 Lyme Road Hanover, NH, 03755 United States (map)

February 7 is the new date for our Styrofoam and holiday string lights collection. The previously scheduled event for Jan 31 was cancelled due to extreme weather.

Bring your styrofoam and old holiday string lights for recycling. We accept #6 styrofoam packaging, meat trays, coolers, egg cartons and more. All items must be clean and have all tape and stickers removed. No peanuts or flexible foam. The collected styrofoam will be trucked to Gilford NH to be compressed and sent on to be manufactured into new products.

Old string lights are also accepted for recycling. No packaging and no rubber bands, please.

All are welcome. There is no charge. Donations are appreciated to cover the cost of truck rental and other collection expenses. If you would like to help as a volunteer, please sign up at https://forms.gle/NA3LaeJFAS91AYY66.
