WHO KNEW You Can Get a Ticket to the Dump on Your Phone?

Hanover residents must now go online to get a permit to access the Lebanon Landfill. But if you have a smart phone, it’s an easy process.

Go to www.LebanonNH.gov/solidwastepermit. Under the heading, “Who Can Apply“ click on Hanover-apply online. I needed to use one of six possible proofs of residency. I photographed my driver’s license to have it ready. I filled out the form for name, address and contact info. I clicked on the area to upload the proof of residency and the photo of my license came up. I clicked on it and was finished with the process.

Three days later my permit was emailed to me. I chose to print it up and keep it in my car’s glove compartment. But you can choose to just pull it upon your phone when you go to the landfill. What could be easier?
