WHO KNEW that Although LISTEN’s Back to School Sale Is Over, There Are Still Many Bargains to Be Had?

Most things are still in abundant supply, including backpacks and wonderful like-new back to school items at the same sales prices. Today, Tuesday, is a GREAT day, a one day only BIG LISTEN sale. All items with blue tags are reduced to $ .10 (ten cents). You can find something special for you (or a friend).

Soon we’ll see the exciting appearance of lots of great Halloween costumes too. These will be more original and well-made than what can be found in the big box stores. This will be another opportunity to pick up a bargain and to be happy knowing that fewer pounds of mass produced costumes will go in the landfill.

If you are so inclined, consider giving back to LISTEN. LISTEN needs more volunteers so that the annual 4500 food banks users, 36,000 community dinners recipients, 1600 families receiving fuel assistance, 400 people helped finding housing, 1200 people given approximately $180,000 worth of vouchers for clothing and food assistance, and 400 children experiencing summer camp can continue to receive these services.
