WHO KNEW Sustainable Hanover is Sponsoring an Earth Week Fair?
Earth Day is coming up, and Sustainable Hanover and the Dartmouth Sustainability Office are celebrating the occasion with an Earth Week Fair on Saturday, April 26, 3-5 p.m., at the Richmond Middle School in Hanover.
Come and gather with friends, neighbors and local experts to discover ways that you can live a more healthy, sustainable, eco-friendly, waste-free, and resilient life!
Learn about composting or how to support biodiversity by creating habitat in your yard or on your balcony. Discover how to save money with tips about energy efficiency. Explore the possibilities of solar panels, heat pumps, and sustainable construction with local vendors and builders. Get tips on using less plastic and reducing waste. Learn how many local organizations are protecting our natural environment and how you can help. Take action in the legislative process by learning how to make your voice heard. Indulge in a slice of Earth Week cake from King Arthur Baking.
Join us for these activities and more, and you might just win one of our door prizes donated by local businesses. We hope to see you at the Fair on 4/26!
