WHO KNEW Right Now Is The Perfect Time To Get Rid Of The Clutter Of No Longer Needed Plastic Flower Pots?

Did you think you had gotten rid of most of your garden pots last year but they seem to have multiplied over the winter? Now you’d like to get rid of them, but what shouldn’t happen is to add them to the landfill.

Anyone can gradually take small numbers of plastic pots to recycling shelves when they shop at Home Depot. The shelves are outside on the far right where the Garden section of the building ends. They cannot handle huge numbers of pots per day so they ask that only a few pots be dropped off at a time. If big bags full of pots are left, they can’t process them. Everything then goes in the dump; exactly what we’re trying to avoid. Maybe if we al thanked them, more shelves would be added. It would be terrific if other garden stores followed Home Depot’s lead.
