WHO KNEW You Can Learn from Your Neighbors About All Things Electric and Sustainable?
Join us on Saturday and Sunday, April 25-26, for the second annual Upper Valley Earth Week Open House and learn what your neighbors are doing about electric vehicles, electric garden tools, solar installations, heat pumps, sustainable landscaping, induction ranges, and many more sustainable practices.
This free event includes 31 sites in Hanover, Norwich, Lebanon, Plainfield, White River Junction, and Woodstock. Hosts are excited to speak with you about the earth-friendly steps that they’ve taken to be less harmful to the climate, and – in many cases – to save them money.
The sites include 31 single-family homes and condos, businesses (including three farms), non-profit organizations, and a church. You choose which site(s) you’d like to see and plan your visit between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on April 25 or 26 (many sites are only open on one day). Or pick one of the separate tours scheduled on April 20, 24, 25, or 26. A guide to the sites is here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/upper-valley-earth-week-open-house-tickets-1981871369617?aff=oddtdtcreator
Read the descriptions of each site or tour for details. PLEASE NOTE: Not all sites are open both days. Please check the Table of Contents on pages 5-6 to be sure that the site you’re visiting is open that day or at a specific tour time. Enjoy your visit with neighbors!
Organized by Sustainable Lebanon, Sustainable Hanover, Sustainable Woodstock, the Norwich Energy Committee, Vital Communities, and the Lebanon Energy Advisory Committee.
