Electric Vehicles a Virtual Education Workshop - What’s New About Electronic Vehicles
Sustainable Hanover along with Norwich’s Energy Committee, Drive Electric Vermont and Green Wave are hosting a virtual education workshop on September 29th to answer your questions about driving electric.
Styrofoam Recycling
Sustainable Hanover, with over 30 Upper Valley volunteers, had a very successful styrofoam recycling event at the end of June. Two truckloads of materials were sent to Gillford NH where they will be processed into reusable material. In addition, holiday string lights were also collected.
Window Dressers
For the 6th year, Sustainable Hanover and the Norwich and Lyme Energy Committees will collaborate with the Maine-based non-profit Window Dressers (www.windowdressers.org) to make energy-saving window inserts for Upper Valley homes. The build will take place at the Church of Christ at Dartmouth College.
Annual Community Yard Sale for 2026 - Another Success
On Saturday, September 5, between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm, over 2,000 folks showed up seeking bargains and a way to rid themselves of unneeded clothes, tools, books and other assorted things.
